Policies

St Saviour’s School has a range of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the school and to advise parents, carers and children of best practice. The school is required by law to develop and implement certain policies covering such areas as safeguarding children’s welfare, health and safety, special educational needs, disability discrimination etc. These policies are reviewed regularly and are all agreed and ratified by the Governing Body. The school’s approach to teaching is laid out in our Teaching and Learning Policy and each subject area has its own policy which outlines how we teach the subject, what is taught and the different methods that we might use. There are several policies that are very important to keeping children safe and we ask parents to pay particular attention to these policies.
Any policies which are not on the website are available from the school office.

School Closure

Dear Parents,

The school is currently closed until further notice due to the coronavirus.
We will remain open for key workers and vulnerable pupils only. If you fall
under any of the categories and have yet to contact us, then please do so.
This means that we can offer to look after your child/ren in school.

During the closure, we will be keeping in regular contact with you via our
school website, emails and text messages.  If you have any questions or need
to communicate with us, then please make contact via the school email or
phone number where we have members of staff available to answer your
questions and offer home learning support.

We would like to urge all our school community to adhere to the government’s guidelines during this time.  We wish to remind everyone of the importance of washing their hands regularly, to follow social distancing guidance where possible and to keep yourselves safe and healthy.

Keep safe and we hope to see everyone back in school in the very near
